For JBST Soccer, 2013 began on a strong note: we started the year with 120 players between ages 3 – 5 years old on the Vancouver Westside. Our Kerrisdale site is home to 80 other players, and our Old Barn sessions near UBC hold 40 players. These unique development programs and training sessions are made possible through parents who are happy with JBST Soccer’s approach to developing fundamental soccer skills — without supportive parents, our programs and would have no young soccer players in them!
We have also been fortunate enough to recently send eleven sets of soccer uniforms and cleats to a girls and boys soccer team in Uganda. Of course, it is important to help those who are less fortunate than our fellow Canadians. Our 2013 calendar has also been printed and was recently sent out.
For the rest of 2013, JBST Soccer aims to more strongly brand its soccer programs while expanding them to Vancouver, the North Shore, and Abbotsford. JBST will continue practicing for its third trip to the 2016 Gothia Cup Tournament in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Our second trip happened just last summer, and we are planning to include a U11 Boys team on our future trip. These boys will intensively train for two years in preparation for the competition — JBST Soccer wishes to create ‘special players’ for this upcoming competition. One day, these kids will grow up to become experienced, professional players.
Stay tuned for future updates from JBST Soccer.
